Help! My Smart Devices Aren’t Communicating – Troubleshooting Solutions

Anyone else pulling their hair out because their smart home is suddenly… dumb? My lights, thermostat, and security system​ used to play nicely together, but ‍lately ⁣they’re⁤ acting like they’re from diffrent companies that hate each other. Before I⁣ start factory resetting⁣ everything,I was wondering what troubleshooting steps have worked for others experiencing similar ‍issues.I’ve already tried the basics:⁤ rebooting my router (multiple times!), power cycling the individual devices, and checking that they’re ⁣all on the same Wi-Fi network.Everything ⁣appears to be connected to the network, but commands‌ aren’t going through​ or devices are showing as ⁤”unavailable” in my app.​ It’s frustrating ⁣when you try to remotely ⁣adjust the‍ thermostat before ​you get ⁤home, only to⁢ arrive to ⁢a freezing house ⁣because ⁢the command never went through.

Is it possible there’s some kind of interference I’m not accounting ⁢for? Or maybe too many devices ​on the network causing congestion? Any suggestions for less ⁣destructive troubleshooting ⁤options than a full reset of everything? I’m open⁤ to any tips or tricks you’ve found that have⁤ gotten your smart home‌ back‌ on track!
