Hey everyone, I wanted to share something I’ve been digging into lately: finding free online mental training resources specifically geared towards outdoor sports. It’s been surprisingly fruitful! I’ve come across workshops covering everything from managing fear and anxiety while climbing, to improving focus and concentration during long-distance trail running, and even visualization techniques for kayaking.

I think a lot of us focus so much on the physical training aspects of outdoor activities that we sometimes neglect the mental game.But facing down a difficult section of a trail, making split-second decisions while skiing, or even just staying motivated during a multi-day hike requires serious mental strength.
